If I could give a negative rating I would. This place doesn't even deserve one star. We were "greeted" by a very cranky hostess with a nasty tattoo across her neck that told us we would have "to wait a while because she had to clean some tables first". I am sure she was hoping that would discourage us from giving them our business but we were really, really hungry and they are the last stop as you are leaving town. We were eventually seated when she knew we weren't going away. We waited about 10-15 minutes but never saw our server. We asked the hostess who our server was in hopes of flagging her down but she just stomped off and said "I'll tell her you want her". At least 5 more minutes passed before she returned and said "I told her" and started to walk away. We asked her if she could take our drink order at least and was told she couldn't and then said very rudely "I already told you that I told her!" So hungry or not, we promptly walked out as we refused to spend another minute or any of our money in that joke of a restaurant.

John, Jon and Ron nailed it, The Junction is a tourist trap and not much better than Denny's. I did give them three stars because the staff was very nice and the service was good. The food wasn't anything to write home about though...

The worst meal I have ever had. Same for my companions. Waitress said they had "fresh steamed green beans". I was excited thinking this was going to be a good meal. What came out with my burnt strip steak (billed as a ribeye) were limp nasty canned beans. Simply gross. I was the only one who ordered my steak med/well. It looked like a hockey puck and tasted like a lump of coal. My hubby's medium, was well done and our friends rare, was well done. I think the cooks only knew one way. It's done when you see black and burnt. Saving grace to the meal was the salad. It was fresh and tasty but NOT worth the trip there. If I could give this place negative stars I would.

Worst green Chile ever. Totally disgusting...looked like glop from a can. Other then that the meal and service was fine

Was scared at first reading the reviews. However we were very happy with what we got!! Had an issue at first , our server didn't know we were there. But after asking he was prompt and friendly. Comp us a cup of Green Chile Soup which was very good. Of course it's not fresh Roasted Hatch Green Chile but then this not New Mexico. Had the fried chicken (not Grandma 's but still good). My wife had the the Southwestern Chicken Sandwich which she enjoyed. All in all a very nice meal. Maybe they cleaned up after all the bad reviews. Of course you can find a better meal. It's just simple cooking here but nothing horrid happen. I would eat here again. Also great big parking lot for RVs.

I would rate it lower if I could. Terrible service, awful food and just a horrible tourist trap. It was mostly empty on the 4th of July weekend - which should have been a sign.

The servers are nice but the food is BAD. Basically no flavor, dry, greasy, just not good. Don't do it.

I have been to the Junction Restaurant twice. I wanted this place to be at least OK, but is pitiful. My favorite meal is breakfast done right. I went early one morning just before leaving on a long road trip and the food was terrible. The omelet was a 2/10, options are minimal, the potatoes seemed like leftovers from the day before...maybe from a few days before (0/10) Just stale tasting. Coffee just OK, service acceptable. I live close by so I figured I'd give them a second chance, maybe I caught them at a bad time. Same result, the worst breakfast I've ever experienced. They need to fire the cook. This place is in a perfect spot tho thrive at the junction of Rt 160 and Rt 84. Big parking lot for truckers, closest food from Wolf Creek but they just do not care that they are serving pitiful food. Save yourself from being over charged for terrible food, just go to Dorothy's downtown.

Not very good. The salad was the best thing the had. The chicken was just grilled no herbs or seasoning. Canned greenbeans. The food was warm. About like Dennys. :-(

Service was fantastic! The food is just good ole comfort food. This isn't a place to go if you're looking for something healthy. The burger was excellent as well as the turkey veggie soup. The grilled ham and cheese reminded me of my childhood, simple with Kraft cheese and a nice slice of real ham. We'll be back!

The scrambled eggs were not scrambled just one big piece of egg like a pancake. The eggs, hash browns, and sausage were all swimming in grease. I will never stop here again

Our favorite place to eat in Pagosa Springs, JJ's Upstream, appeared closed at lunchtime so we took a gamble with the Junction family restaurant nearby. Despite lots of cars parked outside, it turned out a bad choice. The Junction is a tourist trap with a big gift shop and a restaurant as an afterthought. In a previous meal at JJ's, I experienced my best baked potato ever... at the Junction I was served the worst. The potato was not even fully cooked. I sent it back to the kitchen, where it was nuked and placed back in front of me by a waitress full of attitude. The rest of the meal was equally lame. Don't bother stopping at the Junction unless you are shopping for some Colorado kitsch.

If you want Denny's food in a Country atmosphere this place will do you good. Nothing "Home Made" here....they use ALL frozen product's just like Denny's and just warm it up....Neat atmosphere....food just not for me. Again...If it is Denny's you are looking for, this is a great place.

I'm not willing to be as hard on The Junction as some of the reviews have been. The people who were there when we were seemed happy enough with their meals. This place is quintessential Pagosa Springs. There are usually one or more over the road trucks in the parking lot, which tells me something. We had the Spanish Omelette, and it was good. Oh yes, breakfast if served each day till 12:30pm. The attached gift shop is good, too.
